T206 Piedmont 350 - Addie Joss - Cleveland Naps - Hall of Fame. He pitched for the Cleveland Bronchos, later known as the Naps, between 1902 and 1910. Standing 6' 3 tall and weighing 185 pounds, Addie was an impressive figure on the mound. Joss pitched the fourth perfect game in baseball history.
His 1.89 career ERA is the second-lowest in MLB history, while his 0.968 WHIP is the lowest all-time. Sadly at age 31, in April 1911, Joss became ill and died due to tuberculous meningitis. He finished his short career with 160 wins, 234 complete games, 45 shutouts and 920 strikeouts.
Together with the 1933 Goudey and 1952 Topps sets, the T206 completes the "Big Three" classic baseball card sets. Affectionately named "The Monster" based on its 524-card size, the T206 is home to some of the most valuable vintage baseball cards, including the famed T206 Honus Wagner rarity.
