Offered is an authenticated Sam Lacy Autographed Rawlings Official American League Baseball. As an African American writer in the 1940's Sam Lacy played a part in baseball integration and the Dodgers signing Jackie Robinson.

He traveled with and wrote extensively on Jackie Robinson's first few years in Major League Baseball. Sam Lacy was voted into the Writer's wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.

Signature is authenticated by PSA DNA (G94363, no paper certificate). Signature in nice blue ink. Ball is aged cream color with toning spots. Look closely at photos to see the condition of this hard to find signed baseball. I have been a baseball memorabilia collector for more than 45 years.
