1961 Golden Press Baseball Trading Cards Hall of Fame Complete Set 33 no booklet
This is the 1961 Golden Press baseball card set, Hall of Fame Baseball Stars. All 33 cards are included. The cards have been cut from the original book.
The person cutting did it the right way, leaving space between the cut and the perforation. All cards are shown in the scans, front and back.
The right side of Mel Ott is detached. Same for the left and top sides of Alexander and Ruth's right. Ruth is the card of most interest. There are no bends or creases.
About 1/4 in from the left, there is something that seems like a lack of smoothness in the card stock. If you look to the left of his right shoulder, the slightest scratch. It's a pretty good Ruth. I've never sent Golden Press cards to PSA, but I would not say it is better than Excellent. Most of the cards are pretty great.It's a nice set! Thank you for your interest!
